Greetings to my fellow boarders!
It feels quite different.. writing an article for the CIS Boarding Chronicle, this time as an alumni. My friends and cousins from Indonesia are departing to India, but this time I am going to miss joining them on board with all the fun. I have been feeling nostalgic since the past few days; remembering my friends at the boarding, our fun times at night, knocking on Mr. Ragush's door at midnight for his birthday, having those boarding meetings right after school with Mr. Regis, and most of all.. the Indomart at the boarding. I am proud to have a great team who have taken charge after I left CIS, with volunteers who are trustworthy and who will definitely make us proud. To the new members of the Indomart, Welcome! Share your ideas with us and I would love to see the Indomart's innovation in the coming years.
My summer has been going great. Started off with a two week break of doing nothing, I really needed that after IB, and then I went for a 5 day getaway to Bali with my friends. Not long after, I had my internship commencing at ANZ. It sure was a great experience for me. At the moment, I have been busy getting my things sorted out for my university in the UK. I have had a good time with my friends and family for nearly 4 months during the summer break!
Looking forward to the next chapter of my life at the University of Surrey. I am forever grateful to CIS for shaping me into the person I am today. I hope to visit CIS soon and get together with my teachers and friends.
Wishing you all the best for your future endeavours. Would love to keep in touch with you all every once in a while.
